Leisa Jayne Nichols-Drew BSc MFSSoc AMITOL ABILD
Leisa Nichols-Drew is an approachable, reliable, conscientious and pro-active Forensic Science Professional who has excellent communicative, presentation and organisational skills. Leisa established Forensic Select to utilise the extensive experience, knowledge and skills obtained from over eleven years employment with the world-renowned Forensic Science organisation; Forensic Science Service (FSS). During her FSS career, Leisa worked on many different offences including: Murder, Other Serious Crimes, Sexual Offences, Volume Crime Offences, Cold Cases and Complex Major Crime Investigations within the UK Criminal Justice System as well as cases from overseas.
Forensic Biology is Leisa’s specialism and she is highly regarded in this discipline by former colleagues and present peers. This discipline involves the examination of exhibits submitted to the laboratory and at crime scenes for blood, saliva, cellular material, semen, faeces, urine, vomit, vaginal secretions and nasal secretions.

Leisa has an impressive work ethos which is reflected in her academic background; she obtained a First Class BSc Hons degree in Biomedicine. Elements from this degree (such as anatomy, physiology and cell biology) are utilised and applied to forensic science lecturing, teaching and training.
